Zurich is currently seeking to add a Product Implementation Support Analyst to join the Regulatory Services team within Regulatory Affairs out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.

The Product Support Analyst works to support to implement proprietary and bureau products (rates, rules and forms) in accordance with our enterprise, product lifecycle process. She/he will work closely with technical underwriting, actuarial, IT, and external vendor(s) to deliver product implementation support services to enable the regulatory approval of products and their automation in policy administration systems, rating workbooks, databases, reports and/or inventories. The Analyst will also be responsible for:

  • Tracking changes and provides data relative to the rate change process appropriate for their role

  • Facilitating enterprise implementation of countrywide, multistate bureau changes, coordinating with IT, insurance bureaus, vendors, product designers, and actuaries throughout the project’s lifecycle

  • Providing insights into data and metrics related to rate, rule and forms as appropriate.

  • Participating in development, implementation, and change management of new and revised processes, workflows, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the process

  • Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure services align with their business objectives and priorities

Client Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. May involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance product implementation, business analysis, pricing, and/or rating areaOR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance product implementation, business analysis, pricing, and/or rating areaAND

  • Knowledge of insurance coverage, pricing, and policy construction

  • Experience applying and interpreting property/casualty bureau product manuals and rules

  • Experience managing an end to end project

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Analytical skills

  • Basic knowledge of policy issuance systems and/or web-authoring tools

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (Pivot tables, macros, formulas, ability to analyze datasets)

  • Business Objects experience highly preferred

  • Visio Software experience

  • Detailed oriented

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Ability to problem-solve

  • Lead small groups to resolution
