NACI Operations Performance Lead


Zurich iscurrently searching for an Operations Performance Lead to work for our NorthAmerican Commercial Insurance operations unit out our New York City, NY WorldTrade Center location or from our Zurich North America Headquarters inSchaumburg, IL.

She/he will direct the planning, execution, and measurement of businessunits, function and/or Global strategic and transformational initiatives, whileengaging directly with the senior leadership team, and will be accountable forshaping and driving transformational initiatives for the Business Unit as wellas enterprise wide initiatives.

Other responsibilities will include leading, designing, and/or facilitatingcross-functional projects that promote organizational effectiveness,efficiency, and profitability, providing, methodologies and tools to sponsorsand team members to support initiatives and institutionalize a culture thatembraces innovation, and for taking a holistic approach to identifying businessimprovement opportunities, developing solutions, managing initiatives andidentifying the resources. She/he hewill also be tasked for ensuring specific metrics and measurements are incorporatedinto solutions reflecting the business strategy, tracking progress, capturing theimpact of changes, and identifying further opportunities for improvement toensure successful implementations.

ClientInternally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service tointernal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. May involvesharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supportingothers in their efforts to deliver on our promise.


  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years ofexperience in the Information Technology areaOR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8or more years of experience in the Information Technology areaOR

  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprenticeincluding an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in theInformation Technology areaAND

  • Experience leading workstreams

  • Knowledge of process engineering

  • Experience with core process redesign,continuous improvement methodologies

  • Process modeling tools

  • Business Systems Integration


  • Certified Business Analyst Professional(CBAP)

  • LEAN/Six Sigma Yellow Belt or GreenBelt Certification

  • Experience in a key analytical role onlarge and complex enterprise projects

  • Consulting experience

  • Knowledge of insurance industrybusiness processes and processing

  • Strong written and verbal communicationskills

  • Experience with change managementtools/methodologies

  • Microsoft Office experience
