Description

Zurich is currently looking for an Intern, to support our Alternative, Group Captives team out of our Schaumburg, IL offices.

This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally this position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor.

Zurich does not offer school credit for Internships.

Primary project you will work on:

  • Understand/exposed to our underwriting process and customers and consultants

You will learn:

  • Account and Captive Underwriting

  • Relationship management

  • Possible travel

Other development opportunities:

  • Leadership skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Trainee / Intern no experience required

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2018

  • Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA)

  • Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

  • Microsoft Office Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Problem solving skills in customer focused environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
