Zurich is currently looking for an International Service Specialist (Receive Team) for our IPZ Servicing Team at our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg IL.

As a member of Zurich's IPZ Servicing Team you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your communication and negotiation skills. Specifically, you will provide underwriting guidance and support to foreign Casualty Underwriters in the correct interpretation & application of US underwriting practices and procedures.

Client Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. May involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Underwriting areaOR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Underwriting area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the US insurance industry and the legal and regulatory environment

  • Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing regulations and guidelines

  • Knowledge of Property and/or Financial Lines, i.e. Management Liability a plus

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills

  • Fluent in language/s other than English

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building skills

  • Needs analysis experience

  • Microsoft Office skills
