Zurich is currently looking for a HR Reporting Analyst to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The HR Reporting Analyst prepares monthly and annual reports and creates ad hoc reports of moderate to high complexity as requested by clients. In addition, this role will develop and maintain consultative partnerships with HR and other functions, working closely with leadership to support their HR objectives. Also, the HR Reporting Analyst promotes self-service reporting, and is responsible for data integrity and data tables as assigned.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Understanding client needs and provide appropriate metrics and insight to drive improvements in service delivery and operational effectiveness in key business areas

  • Supporting ZNA business units and HR function by analyzing HR data, including headcount, turnover, talent acquisition, payroll, compensation, employee engagement, regulatory/compliance, diversity, and talent management

  • Creating ad-hoc and operational reports and dashboards

  • Automating, standardizing, scheduling, and publishing key reports and dashboards to help disseminate data and insight to key leaders and other stakeholders

  • Designing and implementing interactive dashboards

  • Helping maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data

  • Attending project related or problem-solving meetings and representing the “reporting” point of view

  • Developing and maintaining partnerships with Human Resources and with customers

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Systems areaOR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Information Systems areaOR

  • Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Systems areaAND

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems

  • 3 or more years’ experience with HR reporting modules within applicable systems such as SAP, Taleo (OBIE)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills

  • Familiar with data visualization tools i.e., Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
