Zurich is currently looking for a Financial Performance Analyst to work out of ourNorth American head-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The Financial Performance Analyst acts as a liaison between businessand finance by providing detailed financial analysis to support decision makingfor the Business Unit.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Supportingthe development of the business strategy and other initiatives throughprovision of regular accurate detailed financial analysis and insight

  • Deliveringrobust, timely information relating to all aspects of financial performance inorder to enhance business decision making

  • Actingas a point of contact for business for all matters financial, acting as aconduit between finance and the Business Units and support functions asrequired

  • Contributingto the annual budget/plan and regular forecast process through close work withthe business. Ensure outputs are robust and completed in a timely manner

  • Providingdetailed financial analysis and support for business initiatives such as newbusiness opportunities

  • Developinga good working knowledge of relevant segments, act as a subject matter expertfor any queries relating to financial performance

  • Developinga detailed understanding of local market trends

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’sDegree in Accounting or Finance and 4 or more years of experience in theFinance areaOR

  • HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Financearea

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insuranceindustry experience

  • Projectmanagement experience

  • IntermediateMicrosoft Office skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math orthe Sciences

  • BusinessAnalytics experience

  • Financialstatement analysis experience

  • Strongverbal and written communication skills

  • Technologyexperience related to Business Objects or similar query tools
