Description

ZNA Services (Schaumburg, IL) seeks a Business Systems Analyst II to identify gaps between business objectives and systems scope by interviewing business owners, conducting research and drawing on own knowledge of applicable business systems and industry requirements in order to propose and develop approved system enhancements. Specific duties include: coordinating and leading activities with business owners to gather detailed requirements through interviews, documentation, and facilitated working sessions for approved projects and enhancements; monitoring business decisions and managing requirements documentation and communication; organizing and managing multiple assignments with competing priorities and deadlines, while adhering to departmental guidelines and expectations; evaluating project impact through consultation with the business, regulatory, Information Technology management, development, quality assurance, validation, and training teams; leading analysis of requirements to determine the systems’ potential and define impact on other business units and systems; supporting the development team in completion of impact assessments and validation of effort estimates; creating process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components; utilizing Unified Modeling Language tools in creating Use Cases, Class, and Sequence Diagrams based on the product design documentation; and supporting system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure original requirements are met.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology and Management, or closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, LTE System Verification Engineer, Software Intern - Configuration Management or similar position in Information Technology. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology and Management or closely related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, LTE System Verification Engineer, Software Intern Configuration Management, or similar position in Information Technology. Specific experience must include: Experience coordinating and leading activities with business owners to gather detailed requirements through interviews, documentation and facilitated working sessions for approved projects and enhancements; Experience in system development methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile or Lean; Experience monitoring business decisions and managing requirements documentation and communication; Experience in evaluating project impact through consultation with the business, regulatory, Information Technology management, development, quality assurance, validation, and training teams; Experience leading analysis of requirements to determine system potential and define impact on other business units and systems; Experience supporting development team in completion of impact assessments and validation of effort estimates; Experience in system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit testing to ensure original requirements are met; 2 years’ experience working with Quality Center/ALM to implement and execute test plans and track defects; 2 years’ experience reviewing and analyzing test data in order to assess the measured performance meet and exceeds the requirements; 2 years’ experience in creating and executing test cases for end to end business scenarios; Experience in Test automation development using tools such as HP QTP/UFT and Experience collaborating in an Onsite-Offshore model team.
