Zurich is currently looking for a Sales Account Executive with Medical Stop Loss experience for our Dallas Office but we are open to multiple locations in the western part of the United States.

As a professional Zurich Sales Account Executive you will target specific Distributors and gain a greater depth of business from them across specific product lines. You will partner with our Program Administrator(s) to identify strategies for achieving specific sales targets and in many cases serve as the one point of contact for escalation of business issues and questions regarding products and services. This position requires extensive proven sales experience with Medical Stop Loss. You must have a strong ability to develop an intimate knowledge of your Distributors business model and proposition and be able to create a business plan to assist your Distributors in meeting their goals. The nature of this position requires the ability to sell internally as well as externally, which carries with it the demand of superb client service skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Client Externally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to external clients and/or customers. Typically involves building relationships and promoting the company.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of Insurance Sales or Medical Stop Loss Market Facing Underwriting experienceOR

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of Insurance Sales or Medical Stop Loss Market Facing Underwriting experienceAND

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Experience selling Stop Loss product

  • Experience in the TPA distribution channel

  • Demonstrated ability to execute effective sales strategies

  • Possess outstanding communication skills

  • Leadership experience of multidisciplinary teams, internally and externally

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate critical business relationships both to internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong understanding of insurance industry from a market and underwriting perspective

  • Able to build relationships externally and internally that can deliver on the Brand Promise, retention, and hit ratios

  • Strong knowledge of Underwriting parameters, concepts, risks, and hazards

  • Ability to analyze and understand financial and performance metrics

  • Ability to identify business trends, changes in market conditions, and competitor activity
